In these Terms and Conditions “we, our, us, the Website, Anywatchforcash.co.uk” refers to Verde Media Ltd. Anywatchforcash.co.uk is published and owned by Verde Media Ltd. By accessing the content of Anywatchforcash.co.uk you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and you accept our Privacy Policy. If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the products or services on the Website and leave immediately.


2.1 Anywatchforcash.co.uk will under no circumstance be liable for direct or indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, goodwill, or data in relation to your use of the Website or services provided arising under or in connection with a failure by us to comply with these terms and conditions.
2.2 0ur total liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with the sale by you of the watch(es), whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed the latest price quoted by us to purchase your watch(es) from you or the trade valuation (whichever is lower).
2.3 This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Nothing in these Agreement shall affect your statutory rights.
2.4 To the extent that Anywatchforcash.co.uk is liable to you for breach of contract, negligence or any other liability arising under this Agreement, our total liability to you shall be capped at £2,500, or our maximum advertised purchase price.


3.1 You agree that you shall not use the Website for illegal purposes and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt the content or otherwise reduce the overall functionality of the Website. You also agree not to compromise the security of the Website or attempt to gain access to secured areas or sensitive information.
3.2 You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, liability, losses, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
3.3 We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.


Anywatchforcash.co.uk reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.


5.1 In using Anywatchforcash.co.uk to sell you watch(es), you hereby warrant to us the following terms:

5.1.1 You are at least 18 years of age.
5.1.2 You have the capacity to enter into legally binding contracts. You are acting on your own behalf and not as the agent or representative of another person.
5.1.3 You have good title to the watch(es) which you intend to sell to us. The watch(es) is(are) your property and that you are entitled to sell the watch free from any charge, lien, burden or adverse claim.
5.1.4 The watch has not been reported to the manufacturer, police or any other authority as lost or stolen.
5.1.5 You agree to indemnify us against any loss or claim if your watch later transpires to have been reported lost or stolen.
5.1.6 All information which you submit to us is true and accurate.
5.1.7 Depending on value of your watches, you agree that you will provide us with such proof of identification as we may require in order to satisfy our legal and reporting obligations.

5.2 Watches that we accept

5.2.1 Anywatchforcash.co.uk is a UK business and only accepts watches from UK addresses and only purchases from UK residence.
5.2.2 We will accept and quote for any watches other than those listed in section 5.2.3. We typically pay more for;
• Swiss watches
• German and English Micro Brands
• Premium Japanese watches
• Mechanical hand winding or Automatic watches
• Watches in good cosmetic condition
• Watches which are working (although we do buy broken watches)
• Watches complete with box and/or papers

5.2.3 Watches that we do not accept

We will not provide an initial quote to purchase the below watches however upon request you may still choose to send your watch(es) for scrap value.  Please note given the postage costs, unless part of a large job lot it may not be economically viable to send these watches;
• Watches worth less than £50
• Ladies watches (unless Swiss Made)
• None premium watches
• Smart watches

We do not purchase the following watches;
• Lost or Stolen watches
• Fake or Replica watches
• Incomplete watches
• Clocks
• Watch parts
• Watches where non-genuine parts have been used
• Watches where incorrect parts have been used (Frakenwatches)

We may not provide an initial quote for the following;

• Quote submissions with no pictures of the actual watch, or poor quality photos
• Quotes where we are unable to identify the make and/or model number.

5.2.4 We check all watches received and will report all watches that we suspect are stolen to the police. If your watch has found to have been reported as lost or stolen then we will be legally bound to secure the watch and, where necessary, inform law enforcement. In this event, no payment will be made. The watch may be retained and handed to relevant parties such as police or insurance companies and only upon seeking advice will we return the watch(es) to you.
5.2.5 A £15 admin fee will be charged to return watches sent to us if found to be lost, stolen, or counterfeit. Should you want the watch returned you will be notified where to make payment. If payment is not made within 28 days your watches will be disposed of and we will have no further liability to you in relation to these watches.

5.3 Sell Your Watch

5.3.1 Step 1 – Quote Request Form – You are required to complete and submit our quote request form. Please provide as much information and as many pictures as possible to allow us to produce a more accurate quote. Once you have submitted your quote, we will acknowledge receipt of your form. – We make a number of assumptions when quoting.  Unless stated otherwise we will quote assuming;

  • Stamped warranty papers are stamped and correctly completed to allow a warranty claim.
  • Original box is the one originally supplied with the specific watch model, and not a travel case etc
  • Where described as “working”, the watch and all complications are in full working order and keeping time to manufacturer spec.  We assume quartz watches are working and do not need a replacement battery/capacitor.
  • Where described as “not working” or “working with issues” that the watch is repairable subject to service or parts as identified in the description.  If a further repair is needed such a broken/damaged parts we may amend our quote accordingly.
  • Your watch has a full complement of spare links, or will fit wrists to a minimum of 175mm (gents) or 165mm (ladies).
  • There is no damage beyond normal age consistent use.  Damage to straps, bracelets, clasps, crystals, dials, hands, bezels, bezel inserts, crowns, pushers etc should be specified.

5.3.2 Step 2 –Initial Valuation – We aim to provide you with an initial quote to purchase your watch(es) within one working day. During busy periods we may take longer to respond. On occasions we may need to contact you for further information about your watch(es) before providing an initial quote.  Our quote will sometimes be a price range, for example £500 to £600. We may decline to provide an initial quote without first inspecting the actual watch or we may decline to provide you an initial valuation at our discretion and may provide you no reason. An initial quote does not form a formal offer until such point we have received and inspected your watch(es) and provided a confirmed offer. If you accept our initial quote you will need to post your watch(es) to us. Please ensure you read and understand Section 6, Postage and Insurance.
5.3.3 Step 3 – Quote & Acceptance. All packaged delivered are opening and recorded on our CCTV system. In the event of a dispute the CCTV will be made available to you. On receipt of your watch(es) at our office, we aim to inspect your watch(es) with one business day. During busy periods we may take longer to respond. The purchase of your watch(es) is(are) subject to due diligence checks including a search through stolen/lost watch registers and also any physical inspection. We will inspect your watch and any accompanying paperwork. Notwithstanding any such inspection or testing, you shall remain fully responsible for the watch(es).  If our final offer has not changed from your initial quote we will proceed to make payments where payment details have been provided. Upon inspection we may determine our initial quote is no longer valid. A revised valuation may be offered where the information provided differs from the watch provided; the condition is such that it has a substantial impact on the value of the watch; any other relevant factors not disclosed affect the valuation; or for any other reason. In such circumstances we will contact you with a new offer price which you may choose to accept or reject. Where you do not accept our new offer price we will return your watch(es) to you at our cost using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we reserve the right to reject and return to you any package sent to us if it appears to have been tampered with, damaged or opened, without incurring any further liability. We reserve the right to reject any watches for any reason and shall not be obliged to provide any reason or justification for rejection to you. You will be notified by e-mail that your watch(es) have been rejected and the watch(es) will be posted back to the address you provided by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
5.3.4 Step 4 – Get Paid If we accept your watch(es), and our final offer price has not changed from our initial valuation we will proceed to make payment via your chosen payment preference.  Payment may be process by our sister company Buy Sell Watches Ltd.  You will not be permitted to change your mind, or to amend or revoke your acceptance. By accepting an offer you are offering to create a binding legal Contract between you and Anywatchforcash.co.uk or Buy Sell Watches Ltd in respect of the Watch(es). All ownership of and title to your watch(es) will pass to Anywatchforcash.co.uk or Buy Sell Watches Ltd and in return you will receive the sum detailed in our offer.
If the final offer price is different from our initial valuation, you will be notified of the final offer price by phone and/or email. You will have 5 working days to accept of decline our offer. If you do not accept our offer, or do not respond to our offer within 5 working days we will deem you have rejected our offer and we will return your watch(es) free of charge Royal Mail Special Delivery. If you choose to accept our revised offer we require confirmation by phone or email. If you accept our revised offer you will not be permitted to change your mind, or to amend or revoke your acceptance. By accepting an offer you are offering to create a binding legal Contract between you and Anywatchforcash.co.uk or Buy Sell Watches Ltd in respect of the Watch(es). If you accept our final offer, all ownership of and title to your watch(es) will pass to Anywatchforcash.co.uk or Buy Sell Watches Ltd and in return you will receive the sum detailed in the final offer. We will pay you via one of the following payment methods, no later than one working day after you accept our offer. Payment to a third party is not acceptable.
a) Bank Transfer
By making a bank transfer to a UK bank, using the details supplied by you.  Your name must match your bank account details provided, otherwise we may require further identification checks.
Bank transfers are usually instant however may take up to two days to clear after authorisation, and you should be aware that many banks do not process transactions on weekends and bank holidays.
b) Paypal
By processing a Paypal transfer to you using your email address details supplied by you via the Website.
Paypal transfers are usually instant however may take up to two days to clear after authorisation.
You will be responsible for any Paypal fees which may deducted from the purchase price.
c) Cheque
By sending a cheque to you by post, using your address details supplied by you.  Cheques will be dispatched by Royal Mail 1st class and typically take 2 days to arrive. If a cheque fails to arrive, then you may notify us and we will (once adequate steps have been taken to cancel the original cheque) issue you with a replacement. Anywatchforcash.co.uk shall have no liability for any inaccuracy in the payment details that you provide to us. It is your sole, personal, responsibility to ensure that you provide correct payment details including bank details or Paypal email address. We shall have no liability for any loss that you may suffer as a result of any payment being sent or transmitted to an incorrect address or account, or delayed in any way, as a result of any error made by you. All quoted payment timescales are subject to variances, especially during busy periods and the holiday season, and we will not be liable for any losses that you may suffer if for any reason we fail to make a payment outside of the timescales referred to herein.

When posting your watch(es), please ensure that your package:
6.1 is securely packaged. Ensure that you package all watches sufficiently as we will accept no liability for watch(es) which are damaged during postage.
6.2 is accompanied by written/printed Reference Number.
6.3 is correctly addressed – AWFC, PO Box 3611, Barnet EN5 9RY
6.4 has the correct postage amount. You are responsible for the postage cost to send watches to us. We will under no circumstances refund your postage or insurance costs when sending watches to us. This allows us to quote more competitively for customers who accept our quote and proceed to sell their watches.
6.4.1 If you post your watch(es) where incorrect postage has been paid, we may choose not to accept delivery and the parcel will be ‘returned to sender’. If we do accept delivery you will be charged the relevant postage shortfall plus a £10 admin fee. This will be detailed in your final quote.  If you choose not to proceed with our quote, you will need to cover any outstanding cost before we can return your watch(es). Your payment must be received within 28 days or the watch(es) will be disposed of and we will have no further liability to you.
You agree that;
6.5 You are responsible for insuring your watch(es) whilst in transit to us. Any claim which may arise for loss or damage to your watch(es) prior to its receipt by us must be made against the relevant postal service operator which you use. When posting watch(es) to us, we recommend that you use ‘Special Delivery’ service currently operated by Royal Mail, which incorporates a £500 minimum/£2,500 maximum level of insurance cover.
6.6 Where the value of your package exceeds £2,500.  Please contact us and we will arrange for insurance using a third party insurer.  You must contact us on or before the day of dispatch.
6.7 If using an alternative courier service than Royal Mail.  Please ensure they are able to deliver to our PO BOX address.
6.8 You are responsible for postage once your watch(es) have left our premises. You will be provided with a tracking number. Anywatchforcash.co.uk is not liable for any watch(es) becoming lost or damaged in transit. If watches are lost or damaged Anywatchforcash.co.uk will provide all relevant documentation required in order for you to make a claim from the carrier for the replacement or repair of the lost or damaged watch(es).

7.1 If we return your watch(es) to you, we will no longer be responsible for any loss or damage to your watch(es) from the point at which the Royal Mail (or other relevant carrier) takes physical possession of your watch(es). Any claim you may have for loss or damage occurring during this time should be made with the Royal Mail in accordance with the terms of their service.
7.2 You will remain the owner of your watch(es) at all times until we agree to pay our initial quote after inspection, or you accept our Final Offer in accordance with paragraph and at which point, ownership of the watch(es) will pass to us. Save as otherwise provided herein, our only remaining liability to you in such circumstances will be to pay you the amount specified in the relevant Offer or Post-Assessment Offer in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7.3 If we return your watch(es) to you, you will remain the owner of the watch(es) at all times.

8.1 If watches are sent to us without a completed customer form or reference number it is unlikely we will be able to identify the sender unless the name, address or contact details have been included. In this case, the watch(es) will be classed as lost property.
8.2 We will continue to hold these watch(es) for a period of 3 months. Customers claiming watches will be required to provide a full and detailed description before an offer is made or the watch(es) are returned. If the watch(es) have been held more than 28 days, a reasonable deduction will be made from this payment to cover our storage and administration costs.
8.3 If a claim is not made within 3 months the watch(es) will be disposed of and we will have no further liability to you.

9.1 The information contained with the Website is provided on an “as is” basis with no warranties expressed or otherwise implied relating to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, compatibility or security of any components of the Website.
9.2 Queries and complaints
If you have any queries or complaints in connection with any Services, please either telephone, e-mail or write to us using the contact details described herein and we will deal with these as soon as is reasonably possible.
9.3 Intellectual property
Nothing in these terms and conditions grants you a licence to use any of our trade marks or other intellectual property for any purpose whatsoever.
9.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against all liabilities, claims, losses, costs and fees which we incur as a result of any breach by you of these terms and conditions (including, but not limited to, claims brought by third parties).
We may transfer this Agreement, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time and without providing notice to you.

The Website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by other parties. We do not control such websites and we take no responsibility for, and will not incur any liability in respect of, their content. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of views, statements or information contained in such websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts.
